SVS VGA Input Module – Clean VGA Sources Into Your Scalable Video Switch

Got a Scalable Video Switch (SVS) and want to connect your VGA sources – like a Sega Dreamcast, a retro PC, or any other VGA-capable device – cleanly into your setup? This module is exactly what you need. It slots into one of the SVS's up to 32 input slots and adds another HD-15-based input to your system.

Signal Formats & Technical Details

The module accepts DC Coupled RGBHV – standard VGA – via its HD-15 port. Important: sync levels must be 5V TTL. RGBS may also work depending on cable design, but is not officially supported – use at your own risk.
Optional Toslink digital audio input is available when paired with the separate Toslink Input Module.

The Optional Low-Pass Filter

Like all SVS input modules, this one features a switchable 9.5 MHz low-pass filter (sliding switch on the front). It helps with 240p/480i sources that have poor shielding or noisy video lines. For higher-resolution sources (480p and above), the filter is not useful – just leave it off.

Fits Right Into Your SVS Ecosystem

The VGA input module mixes and matches freely with other input modules (SCART, Component, Composite/S-Video). The SVS auto-switches to the active source via sync signal detection – just power on your console and you're good to go. The SVS also supports direct integration with the RetroTINK 4K (automatic profile loading) and IR blaster functions for OSSC, OSSC Pro, RetroTINK 5x, and other scalers.
