Compatibility Information
This particular version is designed for consoles with the PU-18 motherboard. It's compatible with SCPH-5001, SCPH-5500, SCPH-5501, SCPH-5502, SCPH-5503, and SCPH-5552 models. Some SCPH-700x models also use the PU-18 board, but be aware that others have the PU-20 motherboard which is not compatible. Installation Requirements
Installing the xStation requires soldering skills, as you'll need to connect the Quick Solder Board (QSB) to your PlayStation's motherboard.
