The Super Everdrive X6 from Krikzz offers an elegant solution: play your entire SNES library from a single cartridge using a standard MicroSD card.
How It Works
Simply copy your game files onto a MicroSD card, insert it into the Super Everdrive X6, and pop the cartridge into your original SNES or Super Famicom console. The improved EverDrive menu lets you browse and select games instantly—no more swapping cartridges mid-gaming session. This makes it ideal for playing legal backups of games you own, testing homebrew creations, or preserving your collection for years to come.
DSP Chip Support and Compatibility
The X6 model supports most SNES games, including titles that require DSP custom chips like Super Mario Kart, Pilotwings, and Super Mario Kart. It handles DSP-1/1B, DSP-2, DSP-3, and DSP-4 games without issue. Note that games requiring other special chips (like Super FX or SA-1) aren't supported—for those, you'd need the more advanced sd2snes Pro. For most collectors, though, the X6 covers the vast majority of the SNES library.
Technical Features
The Super Everdrive X6 supports ROMs up to 7.5MB and save RAM up to 128KB. It works with SDHC and SDXC MicroSD cards up to 128GB (formatted to FAT32). The built-in SuperKey function eliminates region locks, so you can play Japanese, European, and North American games on any console. GameGenie cheat code support is included for those who like to experiment. The high-quality 4-layer PCB ensures reliable performance and low power consumption.
The cartridge comes in a brand new shell with a Super Everdrive sticker and works with all official Super Nintendo consoles as well as most non-emulation-based clone systems. Remember: this product is designed for playing legal backup copies of games you own and homebrew titles—we don't support piracy.
