Built with tournament-grade components, the M8 CrossUp features genuine Sanwa OBSF-30 arcade buttons throughout—eight for your standard attack buttons and four additional buttons that serve as alternative directional inputs. The default configuration maps your joystick to the left stick while the directional buttons function as D-pad inputs, with proper SOCD (Simultaneous Opposite Cardinal Direction) cleaning between them. You can customize button functions via the built-in web configurator to match your exact preferences.

The Japanese version comes equipped with the legendary Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT joystick with its iconic ball top—the gold standard in arcade gaming worldwide. If you prefer Korean-style gameplay, opt for the Crown CWL-309MJ-ST30-NEW-Helpme lever, a silicone-tensioned microswitch joystick developed with input from professional Tekken player Helpme. This evolution features ST30 silicone tension, a DX-style bobbin, Japanese mounting compatibility, and includes both 16.2mm and 16.0mm actuators for fine-tuning your engagement distance. The Korean version uses a distinctive conical stick top for enhanced grip and control.
