Anbernic RG552 (Bronze Grey, Android 11, Wifi 2.4GHz)

The RG552 had a somewhat unfortunate start in 2021: It was shipped with a somewhat outdated Android 7 - and you also could not turn off the fan, so it ran permanently.

However, Anbernic has now fixed that and equipped it with an Android 11 - with complete fan control. You can now turn off the fan completely, because it is not necessary for emulation of older systems.

With that, the RG552 still has one weak point: It only has Wifi 2.4GHz built in and no Bluetooth. But if you need Bluetooth and 5GHz Wifi, you can have this built in when you buy it, thanks to Blackseraph for his tutorial! He is also working on an optimized AOSP Android for the RG552 - support him via Patreon if you want to support his work!

Now to the RG552 itself:

It offers a HexaCore ARM processor with 1.8GHz and BIG.little technology. That's enough for many classic systems, incl. PSP.
With a resolution of 1920x1152, Android games can also be played very well. The controller controls can be routed to touch inputs.

Additionally, Linux is pre-installed as a dual boot. Linux has emulators preinstalled, but the 3D driver is not as optimized as under Android. But you can switch between both systems at any time.

Thanks to two MicroSD card slots, you have enough storage space for tons of games. A 64GB MicroSD card is already included by us.
