What makes it special? The M30 takes its cues from the much-loved Mega Drive and Genesis controllers. Its smooth D-pad and six-button layout suit shoot ’em ups and fighting games. The Earthion Edition uses the YK-IIA ship design from Ancient and Yuzo Koshiro’s game. Hardware is based on the M30 Bluetooth Gamepad.
Connection and compatibilityThe controller works over Bluetooth or USB-C with Switch and Switch 2, Windows 10+, Android and Raspberry Pi. Turbo (except on Switch), button swapping and D-pad remapping are available. An original Mega Drive needs a separately sold compatible Bluetooth receiver.
Good to knowThe 480 mAh battery is rated for up to 18 hours. There are no analog sticks, rumble or motion sensors. Excellent for retro games but not a universal modern 3D controller.
