Give your Atari Lynx a fresh lease on life with a professional capacitor replacement service — all caps included in the price!
Your Atari Lynx deserves better than crackling sound and a flickering screen — let's fix that properly!
Old capacitors are one of the most common culprits behind a misbehaving Atari Lynx. Over the decades, the original caps dry out, leak, or simply fail, leading to all sorts of frustrating symptoms: an unstable system, distorted or missing audio, display issues, or a unit that just won't behave. The good news? A professional recap can bring your Lynx right back to its former glory.
What's Included in This Service?
DragonBox Shop's Lynx Capacitor and Power Circuit Replacement covers everything you need in one convenient package. We swap out the aging original capacitors for modern polymer and ceramic replacements, which offer excellent stability, longevity, and performance. The full kit of capacitors is included in the price — you simply send us your Lynx, and we take care of the rest.
Why Recap Your Lynx?
It's not just about fixing existing problems. Bad capacitors can gradually damage the surrounding circuitry over time, so a recap is also a smart preventative measure to protect your beloved handheld for years to come. Whether your Lynx is already showing symptoms or you just want to future-proof it, this service is a solid investment for any serious collector or retro gaming enthusiast.
