DragonBox at Gamescom 2026!
It’s that time again: we’re at Gamescom!
From August 26 to 30, you’ll find us in the retro area in Hall 10.2, Booth 13. And naturally, we’re not just bringing ourselves to Cologne. There’ll be plenty of hardware, games and other things at our booth that you can actually pick up and try.
Controllers and handhelds to try
If you’d rather not judge a controller from product photos alone, you can try several of them at our booth. We’ll have the FightBox R10 Pro as well as various controllers from Retro Fighters ready for you to get your hands on.
There’ll be plenty of handhelds too. We’re bringing a selection of Anbernic devices, all switched on and ready to play. You’ll also be able to try the ModRetro Chromatic for yourself.
New games on classic consoles
Retro hardware at our booth isn’t just there to sit behind glass and look pretty. You’ll be able to play new games on the Mega Drive, while the Sega Saturn and Dreamcast will be running some genuine classics.
And since lightguns and CRTs belong at a proper retro event, we’ll also have a Sega Master System with a lightgun set up and ready to play.
Try the brand-new ModRetro M64
One of the highlights at our booth this year is the brand-new ModRetro M64. It’ll be available to play together with new games, giving you plenty of time to try it properly and see what you think for yourself.
We’ll also be bringing the upcoming Retrode3, so you can have a closer look at it before its release.
96 pages of DragonBox to take home
Our new DragonBox catalogue has arrived just in time for Gamescom. It contains 96 pages packed with products from our range, and you can pick up a copy at our booth completely free of charge.
We’ll also have a few things available to buy directly from us, including our new DragonBox mug and BrewOtaku issues 8, 9 and 10.
Come and visit us!
Most importantly, we’ll be there ourselves. If you have any questions about our products, consoles, controllers, mods or retro hardware in general, just come over and ask us.
And if you don’t have a question, that’s perfectly fine too. Drop by for a chat about retro games, hardware and all the other stuff that gives us a perfectly reasonable excuse to spend several days surrounded by old consoles.
