This is the biggest upgrade over its predecessor: instead of 240 blocks (original Wingman SD), the SD2 packs a massive 2,400 blocks of built-in VMU memory – ten times the capacity. Shenmue, SoulCalibur, Skies of Arcadia – no save file ever needs to be deleted again. Using the Brook Converter Center software, you can back up and manage your VMU saves on your PC with ease.
Ultra-Low Latency – No Noticeable Input Lag
In fast games like Virtua Fighter 2 on Saturn or Marvel vs. Capcom on Dreamcast, input lag is a real killer. Brook has engineered the SD2 for virtually zero noticeable latency – you won't feel any difference compared to an original controller. Full vibration support is also on board.
Full Customization via Brook Converter Center
The Brook Converter Center app lets you configure Turbo, Macros, and Button Remapping with ease. You can also transfer and back up your VMU saves to your PC. Brook provides regular firmware updates to expand controller compatibility over time.
What the Wingman SD2 Doesn't Do
Headset and microphone functions via the controller audio jack are not supported. Also note: keyboard support on Dreamcast requires a USB keyboard connected to the adapter and only works with games that natively support keyboard input.
