Xibalba 64 – Fight Through the Mayan Underworld

Cruel gods, forgotten technology, and timeless myths collide in Xibalba 64. Descend into the depths beneath the jungle, pass through crumbling temples, and venture into strange cosmic ruins. Armed with relics of the past and weapons from a shrouded future, you must ultimately challenge death itself.

Created by Dominic Szablewski, developer of the JavaScript Impact game engine, this first-person shooter was completely rewritten for real Nintendo 64 hardware. Rather than a simple port, it is a standalone N64 game featuring new levels, weapons, music, and game modes.

The Game

Xibalba 64 sends you through a maze of high-tech facilities, ancient catacombs, dense jungle passages, and otherworldly ruins. From the roar of molten chambers to the mysterious Memory of the Gods, every corner conceals new secrets, danger, and power.

Gameplay takes its inspiration from the fast-paced first-person shooters of the early 1990s. There is no cover system, no lengthy reload mechanic, and no unnecessary interruption. Survival depends on quick movement, precise shooting, and a steady trigger finger.

Descend Alone or Together

Venture into the underworld alone or team up with a friend in local split-screen co-op. For larger groups, Xibalba 64 also includes competitive Deathmatch battles for up to four players.
