FXPak Pro SNES Flash Cart (Grey) (Preorder)

Experience your entire SNES library on original hardware with the most advanced flash cartridge available

If you're a retro gaming enthusiast, you know the struggle: cartridge batteries dying, connector pins wearing out, and the constant worry about preserving your beloved game collection. The FXPak Pro (formerly known as sd2snes Pro) solves all these problems while opening up incredible new possibilities for your Super Nintendo.

This premium flash cartridge is manufactured by Krikzz, the legendary name in Everdrive technology, and represents the pinnacle of SNES flash cart design. Simply copy your game files onto a standard SD card, insert it into the FXPak Pro, and you're ready to play hundreds of games on your original console. It's the successor to the acclaimed original sd2snes, now with even better compatibility and features.

Unmatched Compatibility and Performance

What sets the FXPak Pro apart from other SNES flash carts like the Super Everdrive X5? The answer is comprehensive enhancement chip support. While basic flash carts can only play standard games, the FXPak Pro supports virtually every special chip Nintendo ever used: Super FX (GSU) for Star Fox and Yoshi's Island, SA-1 for Super Mario RPG and Kirby's Dream Land 3, DSP chips (1-4), Cx4, ST-010, OBC-1, and even the MSU-1 for CD-quality audio hacks.

The cartridge features blazing-fast ROM loading at approximately 9MB/s, so you'll spend less time waiting and more time gaming. The high-resolution menu (512×224 pixels) makes navigating your game library a breeze, clearly displaying long file names without confusion. It supports microSD, SDHC, and SDXC cards tested up to 200GB (just reformat SDXC cards to FAT32, as exFAT isn't supported).

Region-Free Gaming Made Simple

Thanks to the integrated SuperCIC chip, your FXPak Pro works on any unmodified SNES or Super Famicom console, regardless of region. Whether you own a Japanese Super Famicom, North American SNES, or European PAL system, this grey cartridge will fit perfectly and function flawlessly. The auto-region patching feature even handles game compatibility automatically, and if you have a SuperCIC-enhanced console, you can switch between 50Hz and 60Hz modes in software.

Built to Last

The FXPak Pro features a high-quality 4-layer PCB design that ensures reliability and longevity. The cartridge includes a Real Time Clock for games that use time-based features, and automatic near-time SRAM saving means your progress is constantly protected to the SD card. You'll never lose a save file again due to a dead battery.

The cartridge comes in a completely new shell with professional labeling and packaging, making it look right at home in your game collection. It's ideal for homebrew developers, preservation enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to experience their legally-owned game backups on authentic hardware.
