GameCube USB-C Power Supply

Most old power supplies (not limited to the GameCube one) will eventually get weaker overtime - and stop working reliably at some time.
Also, they're a lot less efficient as more modern ones. That's the reason we offer modern replacement power supplies.

The GameCube replacement power supply by robot_retro is (at least in our opinion) one of the best modern ones available for the Gamecube.
It works on ALL GameCube models, supports all accessories and is very reliable and stable.

It's fully plug and play, no soldering or anything needed. Just remove your old one and put in the new one - that's it!

In case you order the power supply together with a RetroGEM installation or a capacitor replacement, we'll install it in your console for free.

Drop-in USB-C PSU Replacement

• No soldering or wiring required—simply install and play. All you need is a USB-PD power supply with at least 30W.

Universal Compatibility

• Works with all Gamecube models (PAL, NTSC, Japanese), Picoboot, RetroGEM, Blue Retro and more. 

Aesthetic Touch

• We include two different colored 3D-printed spacer. If you have a 3D printer, you can print them yourself in your favourite color via downloadable STL files.

Installation Instructions

1. Unscrew the four screws on the bottom of your gamecube (use a 4.5mm gamebit driver).
2. Remove the top lid and unscrew the single power board screw (phillips head). 
3. Install the provided 3D-printed spacer.  Please note, this is a snug fit and will just snap into place.
4. Fit the robot_retro board in the same position as the original and replace the power board screw.
5. Reassemble your console.
