The RetroSix SNES / N64 CleanRGB SCART Cable is the perfect companion to the CleanRGB mod – delivering a clean, noise-free RGB signal straight to your SCART input. Important: This cable is designed for use with the CleanRGB mod and does not work correctly with an unmodified console, as it outputs incorrect video levels.

RetroSix SNES / N64 CleanRGB SCART Cable – the honest RGB cable
RGB is unquestionably the best analogue video output you can get from your retro console. But not all cables are created equal – and that's exactly where RetroSix draws the line. The CleanRGB SCART Cable is not a "smart cable" stuffed with capacitors and resistors as a band-aid fix. It's a purely passive, double-shielded cable that carries your signal exactly as it leaves the CleanRGB mod: clean, unaltered and without additional losses.
⚠️ Important: CleanRGB Mod Required!
This cable is specifically designed to be used together with the RetroSix CleanRGB mod – which is also available in our shop. An unmodified SNES or N64 outputs incorrect video levels (the NTSC SNES, for example, has a DC offset on the RGB lines) that this straight-through cable will not correct. The result would be an overdriven, discoloured or otherwise faulty picture. The CleanRGB mod fixes this problem at the source – the cable then cleanly transports the already correct signal to your TV.
What's inside the cable?
Nothing but top-notch engineering: the cable uses double-shielded, high-quality coaxial wire manufactured fresh each batch. The SCART connector sits on a custom PCB with an ultrasonic-welded housing – no wobbly contacts, no cheap plastic plug. Inside: no capacitors, no resistors, no surprises. Straight-through from console to TV, just as it should be.
