The GBA Pixel Book – Das große Artbook zum Game Boy Advance
Als der Game Boy Advance 2001 auf den Markt kam, hatte die Spielebranche eigentlich schon auf 3D-Grafik umgestellt. Nintendos kompakte Pixel-Art-Maschine bewies jedoch das Gegenteil – und wurde zur letzten großen Bastion des 2D-Pixel-Arts, bevor die Indie-Bewegung das Erbe antrat. Das GBA Pixel Book ist die große Hommage an diese Ära: entstanden aus der Kooperation des britischen Verlags Bitmap Books mit dem deutschen Retro-Experten-Verlag Elektrospieler, sorgfältig aus dem Deutschen übersetzt und für ein englischsprachiges Publikum aufbereitet.
