SVS SCART Output Module – Clean Analog Output, No Compromises

You've built your Scalable Video Switch setup, your consoles are all connected – and now you want the cleanest possible analog signal heading toward your upscaler or CRT. That's exactly what the SCART Output Module is for. It slots in as an output module in your SVS and passes the signal via Euro SCART to your OSSC, RetroTink, or directly to your TV.

Signal Formats & Resolution

The module handles all relevant analog formats:

• RGBS – classic RGB with composite sync, ideal for SNES, Mega Drive & co.
• RGsB (Sync on Green) – e.g. for PS2 RGB output
• RGBHV (Combined into Csync) – for VGA sources routed through SCART
• YPbPr (Component Video) – perfect for component sources like GameCube or PS2
• Composite Video (on Sync/Green)
• S-Video (on Sync/Green and Red)

Maximum output resolution is 1080p60 – so even more modern sources won't be a problem.

Important: No Transcoding

The SVS does not convert between signal formats. If you put RGB in, RGB comes out – even through a component cable. The SCART Output Module is therefore especially useful when your upscaler (e.g. OSSC or RetroTink 5X Pro) prefers SCART input and you want to process multiple signal formats directly through it.

Toslink Digital Audio (Optional)

With the optional SVS Toslink Output Module, you can additionally output digital audio via Toslink/optical – ideal for feeding your retro audio losslessly into a sound system or AV receiver.

SCART-Lock Compatibility

The module is compatible with Kytor Industries SCART-Lock brackets (70.4mm M4 hole pattern). This keeps your SCART connector firmly in place – anyone who's ever lost a SCART connection mid-game knows how important that is.
