Pandora LCD Cable Replacement (flickering color)

That annoying screen flicker? It's almost certainly your LCD cable — and we can fix it.

If your Pandora has been throwing a flickering color fit every time you open or close the lid, you're not alone. Over time, a worn LCD cable typically starts with those telltale color flashes and can progress to a stubborn purple or green tint — and eventually a completely black screen. The good news: this is a well-known issue with a straightforward fix, and we've got you covered.

What's included in the service?

Everything. The quoted price covers both the replacement LCD cable and all the labor involved. There are no surprise fees at the end — what you see in your cart is exactly what you pay. And if we open up your Pandora and discover the problem is something else entirely (like a PCB issue we can't resolve), we simply won't charge you. Fair and simple.

Is it definitely the LCD cable?

If your screen flickers or shifts colors — especially when moving the lid — it's most likely the cable. However, if your screen went dark suddenly with no color flickering beforehand, and you can still faintly make out the image, that points to a fallen coil on the PCB instead. We offer that repair too, so feel free to reach out or add it to your order if needed.

How does the repair process work?

It's straightforward: add the repair to your cart, complete your order, then pack up your Pandora and send it to us at OpenPandora GmbH, Schäffbräustr. 11, 85049 Ingolstadt, Germany. Please include your name and order number inside the package — a printed copy of your order confirmation works perfectly. You can ship via DHL, UPS, FedEx, or any carrier you prefer. Just note that if you ship uninsured, we can't cover losses in transit (though we will refund your repair payment in full).

Important shipping notes

Do NOT include a battery with your Pandora — batteries are restricted goods for most international shipments and can cause serious delays or issues at customs. For international orders requiring customs declarations, please use 100 USD as the declared value. Once your Pandora arrives with us, you'll get an email confirmation, and another one when we ship it back to you.

Can I add other items to my repair order?

Absolutely! Feel free to add anything from our shop to your repair order. Just keep in mind that those items will be held and shipped back together with your repaired Pandora rather than dispatched straight away.
