The Anbernic RG557 is a powerful handheld with a Dimensity 8300 processor(octa-core CPU with 1*A715@3.35GHz + 3*A715@3.20GHz + 4*A510@2.2GHz) and 12 GB RAM.
This gives it enough power to emulate GameCube / Wii at full speed, even with higher resolution - and even PS2 runs!
The CPU is about five times as fast as the one in the RG406H, RG556 or Cube. Of course, this also helps with modern Android games, which also run fantastically here!
The 5.48" AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels makes the games look absolutely fantastic.
The 256GB of internal memory can also hold a lot of games - and thanks to the SD card slot, the memory can be expanded as required.
Of course, Wifi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, gyro sensors and Hall sticks are now also part of the basic equipment of a Hitech device.
The RG557 is easily one of best handhelds currently available.
