Saturn USB-C Replacement Power Supply

The original Saturn power supply has always been a bit problematic. It has a combined 110v/240v AC to DC converter which is inefficient and noisy - and can even affect the video signal.

Additionally, if you're living in an area with where 220-240V is standard, connecting an NTSC Saturn (which uses 110V) needs expensive hardware as well. And if you accidentally plug it directly into the your 240V wall plug, you can damage the console.

This is being fixed when using the Robot_Retro Saturn Replacement Power Supply!

This upgrade is compatible with all Saturn models with the exception of VA0 (Type A power supplies).

The following voltage should be set using SW1 (instructions are also on the back of the PCB):

• Type A (VA0) = Not compatible so N/A
• Type B (VA1 to VA5) = +9V
• Type C NTSC (VA6+) = +9v or +12v (either will work)
• Type C PAL (VA6+) = Check original or use 9v if unsure
