Hardcore Pinball – GBA Pinball for True Enthusiasts
Into pinball? Then Hardcore Pinball for Game Boy Advance is right up your alley. Originally developed by Paragon Five and published by Telegames in 2002, this classic is now available brand new on cartridge – courtesy of Piko Interactive. The game draws clear inspiration from legendary top-down pinball titles like Pinball Dreams and Pinball Fantasies, and that's no coincidence: the engine was originally planned as a GBA port of Pinball Dreams, and after the license expired it was repurposed into a fully original pinball game.
Four Tables, Four Worlds
The core of Hardcore Pinball is its four varied tables, each with its own theme and atmosphere:
- Soccer – football meets flipper
- RoboMech – sci-fi steel and machinery
- Retro – pure nostalgia, classic arcade charm
- Station – futuristic space station vibes
Gameplay & Tech
Superbly animated flippers, bumpers, rails, kickers, spinners and a silver ball deliver an authentic arcade experience right on your GBA. The realistic physics engine makes every shot feel satisfying. Add a pumping soundtrack and crisp sound effects to the mix – you won't want to put it down.
Who Is This For?
Hardcore Pinball is perfect if you love classic pinball simulations and still consider the GBA the underrated portable powerhouse it truly is. If you grew up with Pinball Dreams or Pokémon Pinball, you'll feel right at home. Casual players looking for quick wins might find the demanding mechanics a bit tough – the name says it all.
