The RetroTINK cable series is a line of very high quality coaxial interconnects for the best possible video quality.
This is a short dongle that adapts SNES video output to HD15.
You need to use either a HD15 to VGA, HD15 to SCART or HD15 to BNC cable to connect it to your video monitor.
Please note that this does not upscale or change the timing of the system, so you can only connect it to devices that support the original video output of the console (like TVs), most VGA monitors will not work.
Features:
- Internal active amplifier and conditioner to output 75 Ω compliant video signals
- Multi-region support for NTSC and PAL SNES consoles
- Double shielded cables (individual shielding per signal plus global shield)
- Sync source taken from composite video from the console
- Sync output on Pin 13, 5V TTL level
- Stereo audio on 3.5 mm jack with separate shielding
Notes:
- Requires a RGB capable SNES
- May have issues or not work with RGB-capable Gamecubes.
- We are not able to support or guarentee functionality with modded consoles. Please refer to your modder for assistance.
- May have issues with RGB-modded N64s running interlaced content (it does work fine on my own one)
- Does not upscale the video or change the sync timing. Only for use with devices that support the video timings of the device or scalers like the RetroTINK-4K.
