Extreme-G: Turbo Fusion – Two N64 Legends on One Cartridge
Start your engines, shred the neon highways, and say goodbye to gravity. Extreme-G: Turbo Fusion combines the two legendary futuristic combat racers Extreme G® and Extreme G®: XG2 on a single N64 cartridge.
Experience the birth of velocity and the evolution of one of the fastest anti-gravity racing series of the 1990s. Race through futuristic cities, alien landscapes, and death-defying courses filled with loops, jumps, and steep drops. Every corner, ramp, and incoming missile can mean the difference between victory and defeat.
Two Complete Extreme-G Games
The collection includes both the original Extreme G®, released in 1997, and its 1998 sequel Extreme G®: XG2. Both games were originally developed by Probe Entertainment and published by Acclaim Entertainment.
These are not remakes or modern reinterpretations. You receive the classic N64 games in a new physical release, united on one cartridge.
Speed, Weapons, and Ridiculous Tracks
Ride plasma-powered bikes at speeds exceeding 750 km/h through futuristic cities and intergalactic Grand Prix circuits. Courses twist through loops, steep drops, branching paths, and sections that resemble out-of-control rollercoasters more than conventional racetracks.
Your opponents are not merely trying to overtake you. Missiles, magnetic mines, and laser tripwires turn every race into an armed battle.
- Missiles and other direct attack weapons
- Magnetic mines and laser tripwires
- Temporary invisibility
- The infamous Willy Warp, capable of instantly changing the race order
- Different bikes with individual speed, armor, and traction statistics
Game Modes
- Championship Mode – compete across several difficulty levels from Novice to Expert
- Arcade and Shoot-'em-up Modes – destroy drones and other targets instead of simply racing for position
- Multiplayer Racing – local competition for two to four players
- Deathmatch – armed battles where the last rider standing wins
- Weapon-Free Racing – disable weapons and let speed and track mastery decide the winner
Local Multiplayer for Up to Four Players
Extreme-G was already known for its fast multiplayer sessions on the original Nintendo 64. Turbo Fusion lets you race against up to three other players on the same couch in either traditional races or armed Deathmatch battles.
Weapons can also be disabled, allowing the collection to offer both aggressive combat racing and direct tests of speed.
Physical Collector's Edition
Extreme-G: Turbo Fusion comes as a real N64 cartridge in a full-sized Collector's Edition box with a printed colour manual. Its transparent cartridge shell recalls the distinctive appearance of classic N64 colour variants and looks considerably better on a shelf than another invisible licence stored in the cloud.
- N64 cartridge containing Extreme G® and Extreme G®: XG2
- Full-sized Collector's Edition box
- Printed colour manual
- Transparent cartridge shell
