Description

This is the revised 2024 edition of the GPD G1 Dock. The difference is that it now features a switch where you can choose between 60W and 100W power.
It should be available middle to end of March.

The GPD G1 Dock has a built-in AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT GPU that offers decent performance for your mini PC or mobile handheld thanks to RDNA3!
Up to three monitors can be connected to the dock.

According to 3DMark benchmarks, the GPU is faster than a NIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 (mobile) - in the direct gaming comparison test, it is even faster than the NIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (desktop) in many games.

This is all made possible thanks to Oculink technology, which allows using PCIe3.0x4 with full bandwidth (63Gbps). The GPD Win 4 Refresh already has an Oculink port built in - but otherwise you can upgrade any PC via an M.2 or PCIe plug-in card.

Since the G1 also has a USB4 port, you can use the dock without Oculink - as long as your PC offers Thunderbolt 3/4 or a USB4 port. The data throughput is then a bit slower, but otherwise the whole thing works without any problems.

Even with Oculink, it is recommended to additionally connect the dock to the PC with USB-C: Because then you can also use the USB3 ports on the dock as well as the high-speed SD card slot (up to 312MB/s) and save an additional docking station. At the same time, the dock can power your MiniPC with up to 60W (which is easily enough for the GPD Win 4 or GPD Win Max 2).

The only thing that is a bit annoying is the loud fan. But unfortunately, with a GPU of this size in such a compact case, that can't be helped.

The perfect dock for your new GPD Win 4 refresh!
