List of products by brand Anbernic

Of the many Chinese handheld manufacturers that regularly flood the market with handhelds, Anbernic has proven to be one of the best in terms of quality when it comes to small handhelds specifically for retro games.

There are basically two series from Anbernic: Android handhelds (like the RG552 or the Cube) and Linux-based ones (for which there are usually several different community operating systems that are even more optimized).

The Linux Anbernics are supplied with a 128GB SD card on which the OS and some free games are pre-installed.
So all you have to do is copy your games into the appropriate directories and you're ready to go.
Our cards are genuine Kingston cards, as the no-name cards supplied by Anbernic are really not of good quality.

We supply a carrying case free of charge with almost all handhelds.

Here is some more information about most of Anbernic's handhelds:

The first number always stands for the size of the screen. For example, handhelds starting with RG28 have a screen diagonal of 2.8", RG35 stands for 3.5" and RG40 for 4" and so on.

The next two letters define the series. The xx series offers largely the same hardware, in terms of performance and processor.
The letters at the end determine the design. For example, the SP model is based on the GameBoy Advance SP, V means vertical (i.e. upright, like a classic GameBoy) and H horizontal (i.e. horizontal, like the classic GameBoy Advance).

Again as an example:
RG35xx SP: 3.5" screen, XX series, SP format.

There are a few other differences between the models (e.g. the RG28xx or the RG35xx don't have analog sticks because they are simply too small for them - but you can see the differences quite quickly.

In terms of performance, all Generation XX models are identical, so you can choose your favorite handheld design.
